Guess what both of these are. They are Rain Barrels. I recently did some research for Rain Barrels as some of you might have scene these big blue 55 gallon drums, or maybe if your lucky the old wooden barrels. Now they have some that look like stones and are very attractive. These both hold about 40 gallons of water. Rain Barrels are growing in popularity for during those dry summer months you can use this water that would normally be wasted as run off from your gutters and store the water. Since this is rain water there's nothing added like calcium so the water is great for watering your plants you can even use it to water your lawn.
